Air quality has become an increasingly important issue for the communities of the Sierra Foothills. This one-day conference will be an opportunity to learn from the experts about the problems of ozone in the Sierra and to understand what can be done to reduce impacts on these communities.
The Summit will showcase, examine and develop additional ways to make clean air a priority in the Sierra Foothills. Panelists and speakers will address a variety of topics from economic and health impacts to strategies successfully used elsewhere to address the problems of ozone. Participants will examine equitable solutions that can be implemented collaboratively.
